engine oil 20w-40 or equivalent synthetic oil
if the engine has done considerable mileage , could go to 30w -50

I can't definitely answer the question but I expect you will discover a square plastic box at the left side of the air cleaner under the air intake pipe. If you find the box and it has fuel pipes and wires connected to it you have found the fuel filter...

Anon, You really should look in your manual or contact manufacturer to find what is considered normal oil consumption. I have never owned a Peugeot, but have had numerous other makes, mostly domestics to USA and Canada and never had to add oil between changes at approx. 5000 Km.s before oil changes.

Test charging circuit (usually for free at parts store). A battery getting drained can cause much of this. With car sitting still you could try removing fuses one at a time to see if there is an unusual draw.

Do you have a owners manual? I suggest you look there ... you have not mentioned model year, making it difficult to pinpoint a answer for you. If you have no owners manual, can you ask your Peugeot dealer?

tour car requires a brakelight switch, u can find the switch under the glovebox.

If you are stil getting good cold air, the system doesn't need serviced. You have mold growing in the vents. There are sprays available at dealers and big box auto supply stores, that you just spray into the vent. Give it 2 or 3 quick shots, with the car turned off. Wait a few minutes to givw it some time to work. When you start the system up, the smell should be gone. If not, do it again. Clorox and water works quite well too but you can ruin your upholstery if any drips.

you should change the timing belt at 60,000 miles or every four years (which ever comes first) this is because the belt will deteriorate due to stress,temperature,ect. replace the belt tensioner while tou are there..
