Hard starting problem is related to many possibilities, since the problem may be one out of them, but the troubleshooting is required to confirm the fault. The most common being that car is out of gas or very low gas.Get it checked. The other possibilities for this problem are;--It could be a fuel problem, low fuel pressure or dirty fuel injectors. Or it could be electrical, a bad coil, bad cap and rotor or bad ignition wires. There can also be a bad ignition module or pick up.Also it can be low battery voltage related issue. This all has to be checked to confirm the fault.Getting the car scanned at car diagnosis center like auto-zone will get you the exact cause of this problem.at auto zone its free to get car scanned.

93 gmc jimmy hard starting

"Hard starting" is a very vague description of the problem. There are MANY things that can make an engine hard to start - ranging from a weak battery to a bad fuel pump, to worn-out spark plugs or a plain, worn-out engine...

The only "solution" I can offer at this point, would be to recommend doing some diagnostics to determine at least which system in your vehicle is the cause of the hard starting.

My rs turbo hard to start when hot

Have the fuel pressure checked for leak down, this can cause the problem. The electric fuel pump (Located inside the fuel tank) contains a check valve that holds pressure in the fuel lines after shutdown, if it is defective fuel bleeds back to the fuel tank and this causes the engine to be hard staring as it takes time to purge the air out of the fuel lines. Also have the ECT sensor signal checked for proper spec, if it is out of spec it will cause hard starting.

My 2004 trailblazer has been hard starting lately?

This problem can be caused by a defective electric fuel pump pressure check valve, when it fails air get into the fuel system after engine shut down and this causes hard starting, to confirm this is the problem buy a can of spray starting fluid and next time you have a hard start spray the starting fluid into the air intake of the engine, if it fires right off then you have an issue with the fuel system. Also have the engine control computer scanned for codes and check the ECT (engine coolant temperature) sensor for proper value with alive data scanner.

My 94 LeSabre has mfg specs for fuel pressure to be within 41 to 47psi. Will 40-41 cause a hard to start condition when the temperature is below 50F ?

this slight difference of pressure won`t cause a hard start condition.check the fuel filter it could be dirty causing a hard start condition.

I have a 180E 1991 model that is hard to start and when it does start it has a bit of a miss sometimes when starting it backfires/pops through air cleaner, others days just won't start

BACK FIRING AND HARD STARTING COULD BE CAUSED BY LOW FUEL PRESSURE CAUSED BY WORN FUEL PUMP.STOP UP FUEL FILTER AND STOPPED UP FUEL INJECTORS.IF ALL IS GOOD LOOK FOR VACUUM LEAKS AT INTAKE HOSES AND INTAKE MANIFOLD.WORN VALVES WILL CAUSE MISSING AND BACKFIRING.

96 Jeep Cherokee Sport Hard Starting

The Engine coolant temp sensor would ABSOLUTELY cause a hard start, but don't guess get the codes check again at Auto_Zone to make sure. Another cause of that kind of hard start is a dirty throttle body/ intake manifold. Use INTAKE cleaner and a rag clean the intake esp[eciall in the throttle body area. Good Luck

Can a cam sensor cause a hard start

Yes, cam sensor can cause a hard starting condition, but not that common on a 2000 maxima. I haven't replaced single one on a 2000 Max and I have one also (maxima that is) . Never had any problem with cam or crank sensors. I think that your problem is somewhere else, like IAC valve circuit. Just a tip. Its kinda hard to diagnose something over the computer, without Consult2 (Nissan scanner) beeing hooked up to the car and seeing what the car is doing while cranking for my self.

Intermintant backfire after hittig bump hard to start poor miladge

Almost sounds like ignition problem... Hitting bump causing it to short out (turn off) for a second then restart can produce a backfire & hard to start. Bad gas (water in it) will cause backfire and hard to start. I would start with checking all plug and wire connections, putting in a good gas additive and water dryer. I your are injected I would Clean them up also... Try these out and go from there...
