My blower fan for the vent, AC and heater and defrost, on my 1999 Buick Regal made strange loud screaming, screeching sounds before it quit altogether. Which fuse would I replace to make it work again?

If the motor was making those kind of noises it is most likely the motor itself needs to be replaced. It turns on bushings instead of bearings and they wear out making that kind of noise when they do.Hope this helps.

1999 buick century with dual temp controls was making loud squeeking sounds and final quit working. if it is the heater blower as previous eluded to, where is th eheater blower located and what is th...

Heater blower motor is the proper terminology for this. Best getting it with the fan attached. Said unit is under the hood attached with small bolts to the heater core box on the passenger side firewall. It's the round piece that sticks out and is easily replaced once you have everything out of your way.

The heater fan switch only works on the high setting

Generally this a problem with the blower resistor, but also check the fuse.
