You have an exhaust leak well forward in the vehicle and it is accumulating under the hood and being drawn into the ventilation system. get the exhaust checked, if it has a turbo charger, look there first.

Get out your owners manual and locate the power relay for the AC and remove it, this will stop the AC clutch from engaging the compressor, note, AC is used in winter to help remove moisture when defrost is on you may have to roll window down to prevent fogging, also check for blown fuse in manual bet you find one for instrument cluster, good luck,Bret

please open hood and look round is every thing fit and look perfectly or not
for safty purpose
if every thing undercontrol
then
first of all please replace ac filter which located below dashbord
then let as know if u still gettieng smell or not
Which fuses? failed. You have developed a short somewhere, and the failed fuses will point you to the culprit. You will need to play detective ( or find a good tech to do it for you)
