I had this same problem. If you the plastic cover off of the Trunk/Gas Door release levers you will see a small square hole next to the push button lock. I inserted a small flathead and worked it around against the lock button column. Eventually, I caught the release, making the button spring up and unlocking the trunk release lever. I suggest you keep a small screwdriver in your glovebox, cause that button can get accidentally pushed down a lot.

if the key turns in the cylinder then the door panel needs to come of and check the lock rods if key does not turn cylinder then the cylinder was changed at one time and there is another key for the door. see if the key works in other locks on car
If it is a bench seat, most lower sections unbolt at the base of the front of the seat (near the foot well) then pull out. Once the lower section is out, the bolts to the upper section will be visable - undo those and the seats should lift up and out.
In the trunk on the trunk mount support there should a sticker with the original keyless code number, reinstall this number into your system and try it. The original number will reset the system.
