Is the clutch linkage adjusted so that there is enough pressure being transferred to the throw out bearing?
If so, it could be the input shaft sticking out of the transmission did not align well with the pilot bushing in the flywheel, and is now binding because it got deformed, and will have to be replaced.
Does it shift with the engine off?
If not, it is not a clutch problem, but shift linkage.
