I have a 95 isuzu rodeo and i just replaced the clutch. now the car will not come out of the gear it is in and it will not shift. what did i do wrong?

Is the clutch linkage adjusted so that there is enough pressure being transferred to the throw out bearing?
If so, it could be the input shaft sticking out of the transmission did not align well with the pilot bushing in the flywheel, and is now binding because it got deformed, and will have to be replaced.
Does it shift with the engine off?
If not, it is not a clutch problem, but shift linkage.

No. Most likely the synchronizer ring for that gear is worn out. Overhaul the transmission.

Hi, it means the clutch is not releasing completely because the shift link is damaged. It can be caused by insufficient oil in transmission, debris or water in transmission, worn or damaged striking rod or sticking or jammed gears...

On my 1995 4 cylndr isuzu rodeo the shifter goes into postion as if it was in gear but the gears dont actually catch unless u wiggle the shifter around alot and then when you let off the clutch it pops...
sounds like a bent shift fork (sorry I'm not remembering the actual name)

in short its a ,,,yes! i would check the oil in the gear box it may need just toping up if its low you can do damage to the box so its well worth a look at, also this could well be the fault you are having no or little oil around the gear box on start up after it turns over a fuw times the oil is up the gears

I have a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo 2WD, 5 SP 240K miles, with original factory clutch still. My question is; Why during the winter months my Clutch Pedal loses tension and it goes (sank) all the way to the floor...
With that much play on the clutch you will need to replace the clutch and in the mean time you can float the gears by matching your rpms and your speed you may scratch a little but you can get it to the shop however its nor recommended to float gears because you can damage the gears if you do it too much.

You will need to get the clutch hydraulic system repaired before the clutch can be successfully disengaged.
Meanwhile, try rocking the vehicle backward/forward while shifting gearlever out of gear to get it into neutral.

Hard to shift 5 speed manual speed transmission on 1995 rodeo
pending on the type of clutch in the vehicle, you may be low on clutch fluid. (if your clutch is hydraulic)
other than that it is most likely the entire clutch itself.
