I took my cap off and waited for the water to start rising then accelerated the engine but did not notice any water coming out of the cap hole, but while idling it come out slowly...My heat works fine while there is fluid in it but I am still losing it somewhere..I have noticed the smell of antifreeze after getting out of my blazer ,never inside so I know its not the heater core..The oil looks good no mixing of water in it..But I still have not seen anywhere on the ground where it is leaking... Any other suggestions other than a blown head gasket?

Have a repair shop check the cooling system for CO. if exhaust gases are in the cooling system it may have a head gasket problem.

How bleed coolant line on a 2005 chevy avalanche

You need to start this when it's cool not hot take your radiator cap off start the engine start adding water into the radiator keep checking it with your finger and keep adding when the water turns warm to the touch keep adding water if it's taking it and squeeze your upper radiator hose continuously to burp out the air keep adding water try that and see how it works

1990 Corolla started shaking after I accelerated rapidly (gunned the engine)

White smoke coming out of exhaust is water vapor. Blue is oil burning and black is carbon from unburned fuel.
U have water or coolant leaking into your combustion cylinders - not a good thing. Probably blown head gasket.

Check your oil - if it like a brown mud then the coolant has also gotten into the lubrication system.

Water comes out of cap after I stop

When you stop the engine heat is still being generated inthe engine from all the hot bits. As there is now no water circulation through the radiator these cause local boiling which pushes the watemp right up. The pressure generated by this rise in temperature opens the cap expelling water. I would find the cause of the engine running hot to start with. Faulty fan /fan motor, failed viscous fan hub, thermostat blocked radiator are a few starting points

2000 Hyundai Elantra is overheating...

Wait till the engine is cold, remove the radiator cap, start engine and look for coolant gushing out of radiator or a lot of bubbles, its possible you have a blown head gasket.

I've changed the head gasket (top overhaul),the thermostat, the radiator cap and serviced the radiator where the water is flushed out and replaced and checked for no leaks but still my trooper over

You have a water leak from the sound of it or water is draining from over heating. Things to check for, leaks at the hose connections, leaks at heater connections on engine, leaks at water pump and any leaks at head gasket. Assuming there are no leaks check or replace or adjust your water pump belt. Take the thermostat out and run the engine without out it. If the problem is solved replace the thermostat recommended for you car. You can also have it checked as well.

My 2002 buick century is loosing coolant fast. When car isn't running around 60-70 mph is seems to heat up more than normal and no heat or ac will occur. Should I replace the thermostat? I noticed the fan...

it sounds like one of several problems radiator needs flushed , water pump is bad or going, thermostat is bad, pin hole in one of the hoses, cracked head, hole in radiator, hole in heater core.if core is leaking you will notice water on the floor inside the car on pasenger side. if radiator has hole when you fill radiator with coolant it will leak froom fins sometimes only when hot. thermostat bad your car will read hot and or cold always. if stuck open cold, if stuck closed hot, after about 15 20 mins of running engine will cause radiator to boil over to over flow tank.never open radiator cap when engine is hot :) burn hazard.if pump is bad or going will notice gauge reads hot intermittent or always. will boil in to overflow tank. if head is cracked will notice water comming from side of engine block or in oil when you change oil. if radiator needs to be flushed will notice scale or gunk on radiator cap
