Look at the contact point were the bulb makes its connection.if it is dirty clean it and put electrical grease on it.

Only got one brake light in the back of my 2008 saturn vue with a 2.4 liter engine

Stop Lamps
The body control module (BCM) is responsible for controlling the stop lamps. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the BCM will receive a signal from the brake switch. The BCM then supplies battery positive voltage to both left and right stop lamp assemblies and to the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL).

Which one isn't working ? Left - right or center high mount

Already replaced the left brake light bulbs on 2004 Pontiac grand am. They only light up if left turn signal on, which is same 4 bulbs I need to light up for the brakes. Any other suggestions??

All rear brake lights on the GM vehicle line go through the Directional switch inside the column. I have found this to be bad on some N-Bodies... but also if it has a separate Hazard flasher unit and switch, you may want to try that first.. easier to replace and less expensive... all brake lights and directionals go through that unit as well.

On my 2004 accord EX, both rear brake lights don't work (center brake light bar does work). What is the fix? If a fuse, which one? If bulbs, are they hood mounted or fender mounted?

If the center light works then the brake light
switch is working. The brake light bulb is
inside the trunk. The bulb holder rotates
to lock in and out. Ck Autozone, they will
even help you install it.

Sent an email earlier before I finished the situation. 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Brake lights will not work. I have replaced all bulbs, running lights work, third brake light in window works, turn...

has to be somwhere in the wiring for the tail lamp brk light. if the high mount works the switch is good. did you put the correct bulbs in? they may share a common ground independant of the other lights.

Both brake lights out

The brake light switch needs to be checked for adjustment or if its shorted out. Its mounted and a bracket ajacent to your brake pedal
