Just remove the thermostat housing, it is where the top radiator hose attaches to the intake manifold. and the thermostat is right under it, make sure to install the thermostat the right way up!! the spring goes down into the manifold.......IT'S EASY....YOU CAN DO IT!!

Where is thermostat on 04 trailblazer 4.2 inline 6cyl

The top picture is thermostat housing. It appears to be toward front of engine, lower, driver side. Usually, one of the radiator hoses goes to thermostat housing.

Where is the thermostat for 2004 volkswagen passat 2.8l 6cyl located on the car?

The thermostat housing is to the right side of the engine, mounted under the coil pack location. Look for the coolant hoses going into the housing with the 3 temp sensor harnesses in the front of it. That whole assembly is the thermostat housing. The thermostat itself is inside of it.

If you plan to do this yourself, I suggest removing the battery (for better access) and drain the coolant before you pull the thermostat housing off. Be aware that the housing is plastic and it will need replacing if it is cracked or damaged during removal.

How to replace a thermostat on a 1999 Nissan Quest?

1999 Nissan/Datsun Truck Quest Mini Van 3.3L SFI 6cyl

The thermostat is located in the thermostat housing, which is mounted to the coolant crossover tube. The bypass hose is connected to the thermostat water inlet on one end, and to the intake manifold water outlet on the other. The thermostat is not located in the intake manifold water outlet, where the upper radiator hose is connected.

Radiator fans will not come on- 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan

On the 3.8 6cyl it's near the thermostat housing, it looks like a spark plug that has 2 wires going to it.

3.3 6cyl may be similiarly located near the thermostat housing.

Autozone.com has troublshooting section and repair section online that may show the exact location

Hope this helps.

Where is the thermostat located

thermostat is located at the end of the lower radiator hose, not the upper like most vehicles. Remove the two bolts (most likely 10mm, you'll need a deep socket 10mm) then the housing. The thermostat is in the housing. remove and replace with a new one.
