My 1990 dodge caravan wouldnt start when I returned to it. It sarted to and now it just cranks over. I get spark and I primed the throttle body and got it to fire. I checked for fuel delivery by removing the hose from the fuel filter facing the gas tank and cranked it over. No flow. Could there be something blocking the flow inside the tank and if I blow air through the fuel line back into the tank will it damage the fuel pump diaphram. Also is there another fuse besides the ASR that could affect the fuel pump? Thank you for listening and hope you can help. [email protected]

The fuel pump rela is located under the hood, driver side, front side of strut tower, rear of headlight, mounted on inner fender well.
However I do suggest jumping the fuel pump to see if pump turns on. Test voltage from ECM if needed. If voltage is to pump, then pump is shot. If not voltage, relay may be bad.
If pump works on jumping it you may have to try and start 5-10 times aka couple minutes. If pressure is still not building and pump is on, then you may want to consider testing the fuel pressure regulator. voltage regulator will handle amount of fuel pressure being delivered to the system. You can test with voltmeter to see if you are getting any voltage to the regulator.

We have a 1990 f-150 it wont start but will crank

Take some throttle body cleaner and spray it into the throttle body then try to start it. If it fires up for a second then shuts off you need to change fuel pump or fuel filter. If that dont work check for spark. check the distributers cap and rotor. Also check the coil to see if your getting any spark from there

Have a 99 dodge dakota, will not start. I have replaced the fuel pump, the carberator is good, checked all relays. Can you give me some suggestions on what else to check?

this is fuel injected it may look like a carb but its throttle body fuel injected,if you look down the throttle body while cranking you should see fuel squirting into the intake if not hold a piece of paper under the injector it should get wet with fuel.if this is happening then check for spark at the plugs,if you have no spark then you will have to check out the ignition system.if you have no fuel coming out of the injectors then you will have to check the injectors powers and grounds.if this is good then you will have to check for fuel pressure at the throttle body.it should be about 15-18lbs.also check to see if there are any codes in the pcm that could help in diagnosing.

1995 dodge caravan S.E. 3.3L doesn't want to start, then does and dies out (also pushing gas petal almost to the floor?????)

pushing gas pedal to near floor causes what is called clear flood fuction. if cranking engine with near full throttle the fuel injectors will not activate, assumes flooded engine and will not start.
most likely you have a very dirty throttle body. clean well with tooth brush and carb cleanr esecially were the throttle plate rests at idle, the plate and the wall of body. just a little carbon build up will cause a no start

1990 dodge caravan won't start coil is good ,new

Check starter relay the 2nd one from the washer jug. Feel for clicks while someone else is attempting to start it. If there isn't any, you can tap it lightly with the back of a screwdriver handle. If it starts, replay the relay. Also, make sure it isn't fuel related by taking starter fluid and spraying it into the intake...you will need to take the plastic air intake tube off to get access to the throttle body.If you do get it to start, but won't continue to run, check the 1st relay for clicks as well...replace as needed.
