ALARM PROBLEM I PUT A K9 ALARM AND NOW THE FACTORY ALARM GO OFF AFTER 20 MIN

leave ign key in the on possition for 20 min they turn off and try to start it then

disconnect the battery...wait 30 mins and the pcm should reset.

dash lights blinking after battery replacement oftentimes means that the alarm has gone off need to put the key in the door and turn the lock if it is a factory alarm and you don't have the remote if its an aftermarket alarm you may need to remove it if you don't have the remote anymore

To disable the alarm you must go to the specialised ford garage. They will hawe all the codes and equipment to fix that. You may want to stay away fromunqualified guys. They will charge you for the job, but the problem can come out again.

Take it back to the shop...where you got the alarm installed, and if it's factory, take it to the dealer..Your sensbilty sensor is too high..they need to turn it down...

Contact K9 directly and ask them if they could send you a user manual.

In this particular vehicle you must diode isolate from the GEM module . What happens is when you arm the vehicle the electronic module in the vehicle stays awake and then in about 20 min- 30 min then it shuts down and sends a a pulse and the alarm detects it as an intrusion and makes the alarm go off . Take it back to a shop or try to isolate it yourself

Simple thing to do is have your coils checked.. You should have spark if they are good.. If you still dont then disconnect battery at least 20 - 25 mins see if it resets ecm and alarm. May begin to work properly again..

put your key in the door and turn the key to either direction!!

turn the key on for at least 20 mins or so, the security light should stop flashing. This is very common for these cars. turning the key on and leaving it on for 20 mins resets the security system. When the "security system" on these cars activates, all it does is shut the electric signal to the fuel injectors off, the fuel pump still kicks on and you still have spark, but the injectors dont shoot fuel. If the turning on for 20 mins dont work, you will likely need a whole new ignition, and you take the inside out of yours and put it in the new one so you re-use your key. hope this helps
