Hello: Here is a breakdown of the codes you have: 888 is the segment check which tells you the system can display all codes, E-52 tells you the battery has been disconnected. It tells you that an idle learn should be performed. This idle learn is a very long procedure, you need a Service manual to perform it. The F-31 means there is a communication problem between the fuel data panel and the BCM (body control module). Most likely a Fuel Data Panel, but it could be wiring and/or a intermittent BCM. It would require intensive trouble shooting. 7.0 means the self diagnostic system is ready to go to the next step. If you go to Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts you can buy a manual for your car (about 20.00 Dollars) I would like to be of more help but what you have requires hands on troubleshooting.

I have a 87 cadillac sedan deville 4.1 did nthe warm and power buttons its ncomin up with trouble code e27 and e52 what doesn this mean and what do i have to do to fix it runs but no power

E26 and E27 which is "Shorted throttle switch signal" and "Open throttle switch signal".
The code E52 just means that the ECM lost power or ground or that someone forgot to clear the code after hooking the battery back up. It could mean a bad computor but not very often. 2 things that come to mind is a bad ignition key or lock cylinder or a faulty neutral safety switch. Try the other ignition key first. Then with your foot on the brake pedal hold the key in the start position and move the shifter slowly from P to D. If it tries to start then the NS Switch is bad or out of adjustment. If it still won't start then you will need to troubleshoot the ignition key/PASS KEY system for an open wire in the steering column. Hope that helps. Bill

What does e52 mean

E52=memory (history) has been lost.try ERASE all your codes and see if any come back.1.turn Ignition ON, Engine OFF.2. Push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons until all the segments on the display illuminate and as soon as the codes start to appear, Push the OFF and HI buttons and release them until you see .7.0.
3. Turn ignition OFF.

What are these codes for 92 cadillac deville ff,f40,f,e,e48,e52,ee,888,70?

Hello williamcole7: My name is Roger and I will help you. The code 888 is a test code. This tests the L e d's of the dash cluster. All segments must light so you can read all numbers. The 70 code means the system is ready and able to function. The ff code is a current BCM code and is happening at the moment. The f 40 code is a BCM history code and means it was a stored problem or something that has happened. The f 40 code is for a air mix door problem. THe BCM would set this if you had an A/C problem. The E 48 code deals with the EGR system fault. I would check for a vacuum leak at the EGR solenoid. The hose is prone to deterioration do to heat from the engine. Code E52 deal with loss of voltage. A dead battery or a disconnected battery cable will always set this code. None of these codes will keep the car from running. The repair schematics are to extensive to send in a reply. Should you need further help ao assistance I will be glad to help. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

My code is e52 and f11 what is the problem

E52=memory(history)has been resetmeaning the power to the computer
was disconnected and the driving/engine systems performance history has
been lost.

If they are ONLY displaying as F codes this means that they are HISTORY codes and if they display as FF codes then they are CURRENT codes and what we need to diagnose is ONLY the CURRENT codes.

F11 = AC high side temp circuit problem.

hope this helps good luck
