Stalling My Nissan Sentra stalls at stop lights. If i put in netrual its ok. Changed plugs, air cleaner, added injector cleaner to gas, checked fuel filter and wires, ok. Help

No to the high octane gas. Regular gas is fine. Higher octane gas is more resistant to ignition and is better suited for high compression engines to prevent preignition and detonation. Check or replace your idle air control valve since the car stall at idle when the throttle blade is closed. If the IAC is not working it won't allow for air to bypass the throttle plate. Also have your throttle body cleaned.

your fuel pump could be getting weak, check the fuel pressure. The throttle body or fuel injectors could need to be cleaned, try using injector cleaner in the fuel tank there it a cleaner you can spray into the throttle body a little at a time, use i higher or slightly raised idle. Make sure the air cleaner and air box are clean, animals love to build a nest in air boxes. also make sure the fuel injector wires have not been chewed on, look at all the wires closely.

sounds to me like a fuel pump issue....

PERORM A COMPRESSION CHECK TO ENSURE THE COMPRESSION IS GOOD .IF THE COMPRESSION IS IN ALL CYLINDERS PROCEED TO CHECK FUEL SYSTEM .REMOVE THE FUEL INJECTORS AND EXAMIN THE INJECTOR TIP FOR CARBON DEPSITS .CHECH FUEL SPRAY PATTERN ,ENSURE INJECTORS ARE ACTUALLY SPRAYING . THEN PROCEED TO EXAMIN THA SPARK PLUGS .LOOK FOR DISCOLOURATION OF SPARK PLUG ELECTRODES OR CARBON DEPOSITS. IN DIAGNOSING PROBLEMS ONE HAS TO SYSTEMATIC OR ELSE YOU WOULD BE WASTING MONEY AND TIME PURCHASING AND REPLACING COMPONENTS WHICH ARE NOT DEFECTIVE . GOOD LUCK .

hi posible u need 2 change the fuel filter

check harness to the injectors seen aot of these where the harness gets short to grond at the base of the throttle body to air cleaner and they saty wide open! check that harness!

give it a oil change and put a new fuel filter on it. you might have to change spark plugs and spark plug wires. also put some engine and fuel treatment. if that does not work put about 5 gallons of premium fuel in.

change fuel filter.if all good .scan it to check the egr valve and idle speed control.or check out ignition system.

my dodge stratus 1996 seems to want to stall when i push on the gas. anyone have any ideas
