TrailBlazer remote lock, rear defroster, and rear windshield wiper failed simulatneously

The only thing they have in common is the ignition switch.

There is either a problem with the Liftgate Module (LGM) or a broken wire in the harness going betweem the liftgate and the body

Id check fuse 1st.. before taking cover off gate. & investigating in there..

electrical wires probably broken in the rubber boot from body to deck lid

The parking function is built into the motor assembly. We normally replace the assembly. If it is assembled with screws you may be able to open it and possibly repair it.

If you hear a clicking sound, then you know you have power. Check to see if the motor arm is moving any at the wiper arm.The small cap that covers the wiper arm to motor can be pulled apart, to see if the nut is loose or if the gear housing is stripped on the wiper arm, or if the motor drive is stripped. These are say to check and are cost effective for you.
