Howdy, No Big Deal, Follow this, Common Power To Left and Right Signal , orange wire to flasher relay for left black wire for right, there are two relays inside flasher module 1 the left and right signal share the other is for the hazards. The is a common ground for the signal lights and hazard so if one side works good ground if the hazard works good ground...maybe power wire from 320 dollar turn signal unit maybe 160 on ebay....hope this helps keep smiling.....Doug in Clermont, Florida

either the front or the rear turn signal bulb is blown, that is why the flash frequency is high. replace the bulb and the problem will be solved. best to replace both the front and rear turn signal bulbs. good luck.

The emergency flasher and the turn signal flasher are two separate items. You could have a defective T/S flasher.

Someone at chevy needs to be slapped over this one. The turn signal flasher switch probably went bad. But this vehicle is different from other vehicles, and from common sense. The hazard and turn signal flasher are not in the fuse box, they are in the middle of the dashboard, just under the radio. You have to take out the screws on the lower dashboard panel, bend it back and finagle the flasher switches out. They are round and plug straight in. The turn signal one is on the driver side. I had the same problem and lost a lot of hair figuring out where they were. Good luck.
Turn on the Durango and check each of the four turn signals
to make sure that the bulbs are not burned out. If you find one that has gone
out, replace the bulb and retest the turn signals. When a bulb goes bad on this
circuit, the resulting operation can mimic a bad flasher or one that is
failing.
Locate the combination turn signal flasher and relay. It is
on the left end of the driver's dash. Open the access door and view the
collection of relays and fuses. At the left side of the mounting block is a
larger flasher and relay. This is the combination turn signal flasher and
relay.
Test
the relay by placing you finger on the relay housing and activating the turn
signal. If you have found the right one, you should feel a clicking as the turn
signal blinks. Remove the relay, replace with the new relay and close the
access door
.
Start the Durango and activate the turn signals to check that they each work. The light should turn on and should blink. Also, check the hazard lights to make sure they work.
Cost about 6 bucks at the parts store. If the turn signals aren't flashing and they do come on, and may be they flash on one side and not the other then it's not the flashers fault. All the light bulbs have to work or it won't flash and thats how you know that thiers a bulb out. Turn on the four ways flashers (Hazard lights ) and walk arounf the car and see if thier all working and flashing brightly. They'll flash anyway on four way the switches are known to hang in hazard and not work right on turn signal so try switching ti a few times and maybe it'll straighten out. If it flashes at all the flasher is good and if they don't even light not on hazard or turn the flasher and or the fuse is bad.
