Hello! The Hazard Switch/Module connector has the following wires of interest...Pin G=Dark Blue (right side lights)...Pin F=Light Blue/Black (left side lights)...Pin H= Purple (flasher battery)...And Pin A=Black (ground)...In order for the lights to flash, without pressing the switch, Flasher Battery must be applied to Pins G and/or F...When the problem occurs are all external lights flashing or just one side? Visually inspect the connector for bent pins and the harness for bare or frayed wires...If you have a multimeter and a wee bit of experience using it; Set the ohm meter to X10 scale...Measure from Pin A (black wire) to the center of the negative battery post...Reading should be zero ohms or very close to it...Send results...

1998 dodge grand caravan emergency flashers & turn signals do not work

Sounds like the turn signal flasher (lighting control module). It is used for both the turn signals and the hazard flashers. There is one type for cars with DRL and one for cars without DRL.

I have no signal lights

Do the emergency flashers work? If they do the turn signal flasher relay is probably bad. There should be 2 one for turn signals and one for emergency flashers. What you can do if emergency flashers are working is turn them on and see where the clicking is coming from. The 2 flashers are usually very close to each other.

Turn signals work sporadically. Hazard lights blink for about 20 seconds then stop. I read online about many other complaints about this. What's the problem?

the hazard flasher module is very common on these. When the turn signals don't work wiggle the flasher button. If the turn signals start working again than the flasher module is bad.

They are readily available in the aftermarket, relatively inexpensive, and easy to replace.

My turn signals and emergency lights are out and I'm told it's the relay switch or flasher but nobody carries them or knows where it's at even to check it please help

If your 2004 is the same as my 2003 the flasher for the hazard lights also runs the turn signals. The flasher is actually attached to the hazard button. You have to pop off the plastic dash panel that surrounds the buttons, radio, ignition switch, and cigarete lighter. Remove the wires and there is a bracket that holds the buttons on that has three screws, Remove these and the button/flasher will slide out forwards throught the panel. The one i just replaced 2 weeks ago cost $22.00 at a local parts store.

Hope this helps.

Turn signal/ Emergency Flasher

yes happens all the time.  I've had to replace mine like many other vette owners.  Order it from gmpartsdirect.com and search vette forums for how to replace hazard switch.  You should find the directions on how to replace it without taking apart the whole dash.  Not very diffiecult.
