TEST THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR AND MAKE SURE THE THROTTLE BODY IS CLEAN..

This will take some time ether way. I would rather go with the carb. but I'm old school. You can keep the Electronics and fuel injection from the Vette and reinstall on to the Camaro engine. Basic same engine. If you do not have a engine in the Vette to swap parts off of, then go with a good Edelbrock manifold and carb. This will be the easiest to set up and keep in tune. Its Christmas and family needs to know all your wants, it'll be easy to tell them. Manifold, Carb. & time to do it, plus a little help with the gas.

The wiring harness will be completely different as well as the engine mounting locations. The computer will also need to be from an LT1 Camaro.

Take it to a dealer it is to great of a car to have anyone but a pro work on it.

Try using the additive called lucas oil treatment,with your oil change,wear can cause this,and the lucas will lube better,and cause the lifters to fill up easy.

1.oil pump
2.timing chain cover

Have the valve clearance setup correctly and timing checked.
