Has the vehicle been in any accidents on that particular corner of the vehicle may possible have a bent rear strut? Do you know if the rear camber is out of manufacturer spec Does the tire look like it leans in to far? GM did not provide a rear camber adjustment for this vehicle but cam bolts are available to correct some of this adjustment another option is elongating the one of the holes in the strut where the lower strut bolt attachs to the knuckle to provide adjustment. Would take this and have an alignment performed to see if if the rear adjustment can be corrected with suggested methods.

Will a g78-14 fit on a chevy cavalier 2003

You'll need to check recommended tire size for your vehicle, normally on a tag along the driver's side door frame. The G78-14 tire is approximately equivalent to a P215/75R14 tire. Please make sure you put the same size tire on both sides of your car, front or rear, to avoid stability problems and excess differential wear, and NEVER mix radial ply tires with bias ply tires.

I put 20" wheels on my chevy lumina & now I only have bout a 1" clearance between tires& strut. I can't afford a lift kit .how can I raise my struts up bout a inch or so.

If the tire is below the bottom of the strut plate( were the spring sits) They won't hit. As Ray stated though. Changing tire size will affect the speedometer and shifting.

I have a 1996 caddillac deville I put 22'' inch rims on with no problem, but a week ago I was driving and my car dipped and float up and down smoothly. It wasnt a pot hole it was a dip. anyways my rim tire...

try dropping down a width size in tyres and see if that will give you the clearance you need That is if you have 250 -50/22 tyres now come back to say 200-50/22 tyres . I don't know what tyres you are running but what I am saying is get the side walls to sit up straighter by putting on a narrower tyre . There will be a solution and the people to talk with are your local tyre shop people.. You may also be able to fit plates behind the rims on longer wheel studs to give you the clearance you require.

I have an 03 dodge caravan and sometimes at low speeds feels like something is rubbing on the tires when turning corners.

it is possible that the wrong size tires are on the vehicle or possible a strut or shock is worn check the manual or dealer for the correct tire size and match them to your van and try opushing down on the fender on the side that seems to rub three times and if the car bounces for more then a couipple times it is probably a broken shock or strut

Rear strut almost rubs tire

This sounds like either a wheel bearing a bent axle or an alignment problem, the alignment shop will check all these before they do anthing with the alignment.
