A blue dashboard lights up and resembles a bullet . . . .what could be wrong with my car or maintenance might it need? (89 chevy corsica)?

Good Evening, a blue light on your dash has been an indicator that the bright lights are on. There is nothing wrong, just simply turn them off and use your low beam lamps by moving the dimmer( turn signal) switch.

The only blue "bullet" looking light that is on the dash of that model is the hi-beam head light indicator. It should be light up when your hi beam headlights are on and not when they are off.
