I dont know what type of oil I need. Also my cigarette lighter isnt working, is that a fuse?

As for your oil it will depend on how many miles you have on the car, but I recommend 10 W 40 ask the local oil change facility. As for your cigarette lighter if you are a smoker it could have debris in it that needs to been cleaned out, or it could be the fuse or a short.

Cheapest oil and change every 6000miles with a new filter every thrid oil change ,best oil is a multigrade that does both petrol and diesels .remember the cheaper the better

Because of the age of your car,i would suggest you use 10/40 semi synthetic.....the cigar lighter could be a fuse OR the element itself(try borrowing one to see if faulty.

it usually runs on the same fuse as the radio & interior light which is the accessories fuse, if these two things still work you may have another problem with the wiring,you might need to pull the lighter out & check the wiring.....hope this helps.....cheers

Cigarette lighter fuse is in the fuse box on he driver side of the car under the dash. It is a blue 15 amp fuse, located on the left of the fuse compartment. You will see 4 rows of little fuses. The 2nd row starts a little further to the left than the 1st row does. The fuse you need is that far left one in the 2nd row of fuses.

Cigarette lighter socket not working

The fuse for the cigarette lighter is the 15 amp CIG fuse. According to my wiring book, the fuse box is either behind the console, passenger side for US cars, or under the dash, driver side.
