I have a 2006 Cadillac DTS and my cigarette lighters won't work. I found the fusebox, but I don't know which fuse to change. The manual doesn't have a label for cigarette lighter. Can you help? Thanks, Betsy

Hi.

In the 2004-2006 model the lighter is under the hood, fuse is 22 or 23, and it is marked Aux or Cig.

The rear lighter instead should be the fuse F23 (20A) if present. The fuse is under the rear seat, and it is indicated as CIG/AUX/Power sockets.

'06 cadillac dts- no power @ cigarette lighter & center console 12V outlet

I know in my 06 CTS I had the same problem with the cigarette lighter. It came unclasped. Simply Take the complete part out (the piece with the ashtray and the cigarette lighter together and there is a plug there, make sure it is plugged in. They easily come unplugged because of the constant opening and closing of the component itself. I hope this helps on the DTS model.

Hello and thank you. There is no power coming from the Cigarette Lighter (Power Outlet as listed in the manual) of my 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring. I have searched both fuse boxes of the vehicle and can not...

Try www.autozone.com they have free reference and repair manuals, it most definitely should be a fuse. I have seen that many times...most parts stores will help you with checking the fuses.

try this link as well...better then the owners manual...HOPE THIS HELPS : )

additional link if the above link is inoperable...just scroll down to the 4th entry for the pdf link of the fuses.http://www.300cforums.com/forums/general-discussion/60557-fusebox-layout.html

Need location of fuse box containing cigarette lighter fuse

On some vehicles the cigarette lighter fuse is attached to the cigarette lighter assembly itself. Check if you can gently prise the cigarette lighter assembly out of its location in the dashboard, or remove any panel that may allow access to the rear of the cigarette lighter and look for the fuse (it may be an in-line one in the power lead to the cigarette lighter or it may be physically attached to the cigarette lighter itself). Failing that, the fusebox is normally under the dashboard on the driver side, but some fuseboxes can be found under the dashboard on the passenger side. There should be a diagram under the fusebox cover that shows what circuits each fuse protects. If a fuse has blown ensure that another of the same type and value is used to replace it.
