My fron passenger's side window and rear driver's side window won't work, i have checked the motor and it has continuity, it can't be the switch because the windows won't go down even when i try from the driver's side. The problem seems to be in the wireing because there is no current coming from the wires that plug into the motor. Where can I find 2001 buick regal power window wireing schematics, and/ or hw do i fix my windows?

Rear Passenger Power Window Operation
The rear passenger power window switches receive battery voltage through the window lockout control circuit if the window lockout function is disabled. Ground for the rear passenger power window motors is supplied through normally closed up and down contacts of both the rear passenger power window switches and the driver power window switch. When the either rear passenger power window switch is placed in the down position, the power window motor down control circuit is switched to 12 volts and is applied to the down side of the rear passenger power window motor. Since the other side of the rear passenger power motor is connected to ground through the normally closed up contacts of both the rear passenger and driver power window switches, the window travels down. By placing the rear passenger power window switch in the up position, the polarity of the power window motor is reversed and the window travels up.
The rear passenger power windows can also be controlled from the driver power window switch.

Did you try pushing the lock out switch on the drivers master switch ?

Circuit breakers rearly fail an they reset them selfs . You could have broken wires inside the flex boot from the body to the drivers door . Taking the door panel off an check for B+ voltage to the switch an a good ground would be a good test to do. But first reading up on how these systems work would be good thing to do.
Power Window System Controls (RPO A31/AN3/DL3)
The power window system will operate anytime the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) system is active or when the ignition switch is in the ACCY or ON position.
The driver master control switches are integrated into the DDS. When a power window switch is activated in the up or down positions the DDS supplies power and ground to the window motor control circuits to drive the window motor in the required direction. Prior to activating a power window motor the DDS will supply the control circuit with a low current bias voltage in order to determine that a short to ground condition does not exist and during window motor operation the DDS continues to monitor the motor current to verify proper window motor operation.
The DDS controls the passenger window through a GMLAN message to the PDS. When a power window switch is activated in the up or down positions the PDS supplies power and ground to the window motor control circuits to drive the window motor in the required direction. Prior to activating a power window motor the PDS will supply the control circuit with a low current bias voltage in order to determine that a short to ground condition does not exist, and during window motor operation the PDS continues to monitor the motor current to verify proper window motor operation. Rear Passenger Power Window Operation (RPO A31/AN3/DL3)
The body control module (BCM) monitors the window UP/DOWN command from the DDS. When the rear window UP or DOWN command is received, the BCM sends a signal to the appropriate rear window switch. The rear window switches continuously monitor the up and down signal circuits, if no function is being commanded, the signal voltage is at approximately B+ voltage. If the UP or DOWN function is commanded, the BCM signal voltage drops approximately 5 volts and the appropriate rear window switch will then command the window in the UP or DOWN direction.

Having the vehicle checked for DTC'S mite be a good idea .

most likely the switch got wet. unplug and check conections

change master switch first!

Look at the body control module.

Check the wires on the driver's door between the door and the post. A break in a wire will affect the passenger side.

You also have Circuit Breakers for your windows, Or your Master Switch ,You can Test the Driver Control Switch or the rear switches by removing the Switches and using the connector Plug and a Jump wire try jumping accross the wires,if they go up or down you could have a Bad Switch,if nothing moves more than likely your Window Motor is bad. BUT first CHECK your Circuit Breakers ,It could be Labeled as accessery Relay or circuit Breaker.

could be the driver side master window switch... if the driver side window switch assembly is broken then the windows will not work... try using a test light to see if you got power to the with and and ohm meter to check all four switches on the drivers side

driver side window motor gone check for continuity at connector before replaceing motor

If you have a multimeter you can go to the underside of the master panel in the drivers door and independently check the switches for voltage or with no power to the switch assembly check for continuity. Good place to start. If you get continuity to through the switch then you need to check power to the window actuators in the doors.
