I had a 2002 Odyssey with the same problem. I cleaned around the micro switch at the bottom rear of the door and checked the door roller bracket screws. The screws were loose so I tightened them and also sprayed the switch with electrical contact cleaner (special stuff that leaves no residue). Apparently this helped the contacts in the switch to close properly and the door was able to reset and work. Good luck.

It could possibly be a shock or strut bracket.

locate the relay for the door in the fuse panel under the dash... replace it... should be fine then

If it will not open or close using the remote and all other functions of the rmote work then it is likely to be the remote receiver inside the door behind the door liner. If it will not open or close using the handles the coupler may not be fastened that goes to the motor behind the right side liner. Or the motor may be bad. If you turn the doors off using the switch at the drivers left side and they still won't open or close check to see if the door is still on the rollers and not jammed up. The power motor may have gone bad or it may need to have the cable tension adjusted.

It will be stiff in manual mode. If there is any resistance to the door opening such as an arm or leg in the opening and it pushes on the door it will stop. Yours could be overly sensitive and stopping because of resistance of the rollers on the door as it's opening. Make sure the rollers and track are clean and lubricated. Watch closely for the exact spot where the door stops and look at the track and roller there.
