While many owners manuals are available online, it appears yours is not. Toyota.com says to call their Material Distribution Center at 1-800-622-2033 to order owners manuals, repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and other technical reference documents. It doesn't say if there is a fee, or how much.
Another site: Helm, Inc.has owners manuals for a fee. Might be cheaper than Toyota.
If you are just looking for maintenance schedules, Edmunds.com has a Maintenance page with manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule, recalls, and technical service bulletins for your car. Good luck.
Remove the petrol tank (turn off the fuel!) and check that the wiring looms are not warn through and you are experiencing an electrical short or that one of the wiring plugs has not come loose. Check the wiring loom thoroughly!
These can be purchased (special order) from the parts department of your local Toyota dealer. You can also buy them on EBay. I just did a search there and found several for sale. See
