First check brake pads, are they in good condition first remove front pads and grind outer edge and inner edge 1 mm with angle from mettle part, do the same for both pads in each wheels then fix it back, do the same to the rear pads too, the problem is your brake rotors are wear, when you replace brake pads next time must need to be replace brake rotors together with the pads. is this information helped you?

One of my wheels is making noise as I drive on my 2005 e500 mercedes it is louder the faster I drive!

if it is a scratching /squeaking noise then I would look at the brake pads as it may be an low pad indicator touching the disc rotor telling you that the pads need replacing
It may also be a loose wheel bearing
A noise is not very descriptive when wanting answers to problems.

On my e500 mercedes the brakes are making noise not right away but when I am almost stopped, I did change the rotors and pads?

Did it make the noise and THEN you changed the pads? Or did you change the pads and then it started making the noise?

If it started after changing the pads, try sanding the pad surfaces lightly with sandpaper. If they are too smooth, it will cause a squeak.

What does squeaking sound while breaking mean?

it may mean nothing, squeaks from brakes area not uncommon. on the other hand, if the noise changes when you apply the brakes or if you just haevnt had the brakes inspected latley, it could be the wear indicator rubbing, this means the brakes are at the minimum thickness and should be replaced

What does squeaking sound during breaking mean?

Hi Chery, squeaking from the brakes isn't at all uncommon. The simplest and most likely cause is dust in the braking system. This gets between the fristion material and the disc or drum, heats up and creates the sound. Going beyond that, it might be a lack of lubricant (special grease) bwtween the disc pad (or brake-shoe) and the actuator/s. Worse still it's possible it's indicative of worn out brake friction material in which case it could well be the base of the pad or the brake shoe rubbing against the disc or drum. This last will entail a brake overhaul - fitting replacement pads and/or shoes, and if this has caused disc or drum wear, their repplacement too. Good luck!

I had a new brake job on my 2006 Mercedes E500 and noticed pulsating feel on the brakes high and low speed. I brough it back and he said the rotors are fine and he thinks it is a warped ub on the drivers...

If the rotors where replaced during the brake job this is possible, it could be that the hub always has been bent but the previous rotors where skimmed on the vehicle thus eliminating the brake shudder. If the rotors wherent replaced in the recent brake job, the chances are unlikley the the hub suddenly warped.

I have a 2006 Envoy on the dashboard there is a wrench next to an oil can. Also the car is making a squeaking sound.

the wrench means its time to change the oil and filter, the squeaking sound might be the brakes, it has a squeaker on the brake pads when they get worn down, the squeaker touches the brake rotor to tell you to get your brakes fixed, hope this helps, thanks robert b.

Brakes make squeaky noises along with other noises

There are a numer of reasons brakes will squeak or squeal. Sometimes excessive dust acculation wll cause it, yet another cause is the TYPE of material the brake shoes are made of. The harder the brake shoe material , the more tendency to squeak / squeal. My suggestion is use high quality brakes such as OE brakes. Hope this helps.
