I am stumped. 95 Honda Accord with over 200K miles. It just died last week. There is no power to the fuel pump. I have swapped out the relay and the fuse is good.
What else am I missing?
This is a common proplem with these cars there are several relays that have to be engaged to make the pump come on there is one inparticular thats fails most commonly called the twinkie driverside by the strut tower its aluminum 1.5 in by 4in 5 to 7 wires coming out of it easily replaced message back after you try that if it doesnt work and i will advise on others
check the switch but most likely the twinkie has an intermittent short go to junkyard and get one much cheaper and better quality than aftermarket I mean hell while your there get all relays under dash you have allot of miles yes even for a honda youll need them eventually and they are like $5 a piece

Hello ntsure211,
I found the twinkie and also had picked up a schematic. I unplugged/plugged the twinkie as well as trace the voltages from the main relay, check all the fuses under hood and in compartment, checked for voltage at the pump (an access door was cut), banged on the steering column, and locked/unlocked the doors via the key fob.
And it now starts and runs. So, I do not know what about the above fixed it. It kinda scares me. I'm gonna check out the ignition switch.
Thanks for your help!
Ralph
