Radio problems The radio in my 2005 Tahoe keeps shutting itself off and on. Half the time I can't turn it off with the button, change the channel, or turn the volume up or down. I also keep hearing a beep sound while the vehicle is on.

I have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe and every time we go to the drive in our battery goes dead because of the lights. How do I turn the radio on and lights off?

You may have to have the radio rewired to not run from main ignition, therefore allowing you turn off your lights without loosing the radio.

My 2005 chev tahoe cd player won't play cd's and won't eject them. The cd light keeps flashing. I don't think there is on stuck. There wasn't any signs of trouble before this...

I have run into this problem many times on your particular type of radio. I have worked in a gm dealership for years. Sometimes we can reprogram them and they work better, but all will eventually need replaced. The cheaper option is to have an aftermarket radio installed, for the price of a new factory radio, you could have a much nicer aftermarket unit.

My 2001 tahoe alarm keeps "auto" arming itself after about 30 seconds. How do I stop it from "auto" arming? Its driving me crazy

this alarm works with the remote and the key, if you lock with the key it arms if you lock with remote it arms, when you unlock it it should disarm, if your having a problem with it not working try the pass/side lock with key, that should shut it down but if it keeps rearming without locking doors then it may be aftermarket, also in your manualy it will show you that some factory alarms are also self arming this is programed through the cluster, using the buttons on the dash, you scroll through the options and shut off auto arming, this is done the same way you scroll for mileage or trip time or oil change life. hope this helps.

Cd player in 05 tahoe

Same thing happened to my 2005 tahoe. I pulled two fuses out (panel located under the hood on drivers side), put them back in, and now it takes cds again. Drove me nuts for days. Radio also worked, just didn't take in cds.
