Which port to use to recharge AC on 1995 For Windstar?

The low-side port will be directly adjacent to the receiver/dryer near the firewall.

Usually close to the drier in the tube on the low pressure side. Drier looks like an aluminum cylinder about as big around as a soda can and twice as tall with two aluminum tubes coming out of it. The port has a screw off cap to access.

You low pressure port is against the firewall just below the center of the cowl and is best accessed from the drivers side

Find a shiny aluminum canister under the hood thats bigger than a soda can and follow the tubing that comes out of it back towards the front, you will come to a valve similiar to an air valve stem on a tire. The valve has a black plastic screw off cap. That is the low pressure port. The high pressure port is located behind or near the a/c compressor

These ports are usually covered with blue plastic cap. Remember to always service on suction/low pressure line only, the low press. line is the large line coming off the compressor.

The adapter that comes with the can will only fit onto the low pressure port. The low pressure port is typically located on the larger aluminum tubing, as opposed to the smaller flexible tubing. If the adapter fits, you are in business.
