OF TRANNY FLUID ABOUT EVERY 10 MILES.. SO BTWN THE TRAVELING EXPENSES, AND $100.00 IN TRAN FLUID, I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO TAKE IT TO A SHOP, AND NEED TO FIND SOMEONE THAT CAN REPAIR IT AND FOR FREE OR REALLY CHEAP ASAP. . . IF SOMEONE HAS A DIAGRAM/BREAK DOWN THEY CAN SEND ME OF BOTH THE TRANSMISSION & TRANSFER CASE, I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT :)

Hello Denise, if you think you can do this, I can send you instructions to remove the transfer case and reseal the rear of the transmission. I know this may seem like an intimidating job but it can be quite easy. Once the t-case is out you replace the seal inside the back of the transmission and put everything back together. I am west coast so our hours are the same. Let me know where to send the all of the instructions. You can email me at [email protected]

This darn little engine just keeps going. ... I have a 2003 chevy blazer and the oil cooler line from the oil filter to ... I have a 95 Chevy s10 v6 vortec 2wd that is slightly dripping oil out of agasket ... I'm having same problem 2001 Chevy Blazer 4x4 (not xtreme) not sure if those same bolts are missing on mine.
Front transmission pump. For a Chevy S10 its located behind the torque convertor,This pump supplies the torque convertor and it service as a pressure supply system, Just because the pump is in the immediate area it does wear out and develops gaps and is unable to supply transmission fluid to the system. When the transmission warms up the fluid thins out.Sitting for 5 minutes allow the fluid to cool just enough to run again
P.sthis remind me of what happen to me I stuck on the side of the road ,half mile and took 2 hours to drive back
There is no such thing as oil coolant or transmission coolant just engine coolant but the oil helps cool the engine and the transmission fluid help cool the transmission but that is only part of there jobs. Engine coolant is call Antifreeze.or some like Prestone
You have to check under the Vehicle and locate the Fluid Check/Fill hole and plug on the Side of the transmission. Check your owners manual for the proper Fluid Type to use.
Oil would be 5W30 according to GM but it would have enough mileage by now so that you could go heavier if you wanted, 10W30 or 10W40 if it burns some. The transmission would use Dexron II or whatever replaces it. Read the label on the back to make sure that what you are buying can be used as a substitute for Dexron II. Hope this helps.
