I just replaced the head gasket on a 1991 Celica. When reinstalling, I have a wiring harness that I cannot find its orgin. There are 4 joined wires that cross over the timing pulley. Two harnesses go to the alternator, one black harness connects to the oil sensor in the block and the fourth white harness goes..... The wire is a single wire harness, and since finishing the project, the battery warning light comes on. Related?

SOURCE: wiring harness for a 91 accord into a h22

That depends on what motor your accord came with, If was the f22 it does work but requires some mods. Providing that the vechile you are installing it in is OBD1 also.

SOURCE: I have a draw on the battery on my 85 Toyota pickup it kills a fully charged battery in about 2 hours... Ive put a volt tester between the disconnected positive battery cable and the positive battery

Go to You Tube Video & see how to do a parasitic CURRENT
drain test

What you have done so far with a test light & volt meter is basically
doing nothing

You need an amp meter & a wiring diagram, then pull fuses one
at a time, to get to the circuit that causes the drain, then use the
prints to test that circuit for voltage drops

Why does my ac blow my gauge fuse?

Hello. It seems there are 'uninsulated' wires in your car's wiring harness for the guages and the a/c. Please be careful because that is a fire 'hazard'. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

I JUST DID A HEAD GASKET ON MY 95 CELICA AND NOW IT WILL NOT RUN AND THE FAN COMES ON AND THE TEMP GAUGE GOES ALL THE WAY UP WITH THE KEY TURNED TO ACC. ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREAT.

recheck your connections, you may have plugged a wiring harness incorrectly. Don't laugh, its easy to do on my bmw. All you can do is backtrack but it sounds like a wiring problem and probably 180 degrees.

I bought a used 1991 Toyota celica, there were no remotes. I'd like to diconect this system, but don't know how. can anyone help me. my email address is [email protected]

Hello. Look under the driver's seat. There should be, if this is a factory system, a black box, and a couple wiring harnesses.

Disconnect, and remove the black box, and remove all of the wires that run from the box to the connections under the instrument panel.

The wiring harness is desigend to 'go between' the factory connectors. Remove the harness, and simply refit the connectors.

Just removing the black box will NOT allow the car to start; you have to remove the wiring harnesses also.

I hope this helps you out.
