A belt diagram for a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix, what engine? i will check it out, okay the 1997 grand prix came with a 3.1 or 3.8 engine.

this site has a diagram showing the belt patterns for most engine set ups for the 04 grand prix

it could be a loose or worn out fan belt, check the tension or see if it needs to be replaced......hope this helps.....cheers.

The diagram should be there under the hood, look for a white sticker up on the hood or down along the fan shroud.

If you have the 3800 Series II or Series III engine, this should help you out.

If you dont have the supercharger, just disregard the belt routing with the S/C on it.
