Coolent leaking from rear of engine can not see from where. When I stopped the car the fluid kept coming out. Engine overheated, I checked the front hoses they are dry and no leak from the radiator. What...

You could have a leak coming from the intake or even the heads. Before digging into those difficult items, I'd check all of your freeze plugs for damage/wear/rust/leaks.

Coolant leaking onto passenger floor well after using fan and heater.1999 Toyota Landcruiser, 6cyl petrol. Does this suggest a ruptured heater core? Will this mean getting in behind the dash?

yes and yes. sorry.
as you are probably aware of it is difficult to get to heater cores. if you are able to take it to someone that can do a pressure test on the cooling system they should be able to tell you for sure where the leak is coming from

Floor wet

The heater core would be the only cause of the souce of water drippng when you add to the cooling system. Check your heater core to heater hose connections first. Do the simple stuff before embarking on a "fantastic voyage". You may just have a slightly cracked hose as well.
