Either the front driveshaft or the transfer case.

2000 jeep wrangler with 35 inch tires making a rattling noise on front passenger side

make sure that the inside of the rim is tight on the hub and not sitting off it
loose/ incorrect wheel stud nuts will also cause the noise

DO not use 4wd on dry pavement. do not. its for
ice, snow,or dirt.
if you do that and make a turn , it winds up the driveline. damage.
put in the dirt, at side of road, and get it out of 4wd.
read the manual on part time 4wd, its not AWD and has no center diferental to drive on hard pavement.

see stop driving. ..here

Ok so my 2009 Toyota rav 4 is always in 4 wheel drive so to speak so then what is the 4 wheel lock button on the dash for?

Rav 4 is an all wheel drive vehicle not a 4 wheel drive as in jeep or Landrover. When you press the 4 wheel lock it activates a lock dog in the transfer case that means both front and back axles now drive as long as you have traction on at least 1 axle set. There is no means of allowing the front axle to speed up and slow down in relation to the rear axle ( as in going over a speed bump) and you get axle wind up which puts a load on all the drive train . The faster you go the bigger the load and so it kicks out over 25mph as obviously there is no need to have both front and back locked together at speed . It also makes steering harder to turn

Front wheel is bumpy at low speed. 4x4 stuck?

If the 4wd was engaged on dry pavement you would have a difficult time making a turn because the front tires would be turning at the same time.
If the bump or vibration is felt when you are driving down a straight road I would agree with the ball joint or other suspension theory.
I will note here that Jeep Cherokee came with two different kinds of 4wd, one version can be driven on dry roads when engaged.

Front end making rattling, thumping noise when driving. Slowing of speed increases the noise.

i would 1st check out the front tires to make sure that they are not defective, if tires check out ok, then i would put the jeep on a rack at a garage, and check out all of the front end components, including c. v. joints and the wheel bearings.

A BEARING MAKES A GROWELING NOISE.
BRAKES WOULD MAKE THE NOISE WHEN APPLIED.

Thumping at front passenger wheel area

if the noise isassociated with "wheel speed" then it is in the rolling parts... axle hub bearing brake rotor caliper wheel or tires...if it goes away on right turns then you are unloading or separating the issue then...so a hub /wheel bearing /axle issue is most likely...does your brake pedal pulse when you feel it..(riding the brake while driving)..does the steering wheel shimmy ?
