I've read the manual from cover to cover. Lights were left on and the battery died. Now I can't set my clock for the right hour. How do I set my clock. I have the XM feature also.
And just to make sure....I called GMC to find out how large my gas tank is and he said he 'thought' it was 31 gallons.
Correct?
Thanks!
31 sounds about right for a sierra and the clock settings are in the menu. Hit menu then you have a small round knob to advance the hour or you have two small buttons in the lower right hand corner of the radio.

The hi beams should be on the turn signal switch you should just pull it back towards you and most GM radios have to be turned off then you hold the seek or volume button down and it will start changing the time and some had a real small HOUR and MIN button that had to be pushed with a Pin .
Go to a GMC dealer, ask a salesman to get your owners manual out and read you the instructions. If you can't read them yourself, then reprinting them here makes no sense.
there will be different clocks and ways to set them based on your interior trim package, i have consulted an oracle but cannot divine which package you have. so you will have to do it the way everyone else does by reading your owners manual.
as long as this is a factory radio am/fm only
there are 3 large buttons marked 1-2 3-4 5-6 they are preset stations
below there is another big button under the 5-6 preset
will have HR-MN an arrow pointing down under the HR an arrow pointing up under MN
HR hour MN min. PUSH AND HOLD HR to set hour and PUSH AND HOLD MN to set min. KEY ON OR OFF
hope this helps
Sounds like low voltage. Get a boost from another car with a good set of cables. Once started check voltage with booster car disconnected. Is it around 14 volts? If so,the truck is charging, so it may be time for a new battery.
If the voltage is at 12 or lower while running the truck is not charging. May be time for a new alternator.
The battery should have charged enough in 1 hour to start the truck. You may need a battery and alternator.
