How to replace a left front turn signal bulb on a 2001 pontiac sunfire, 2 door. It is down in the spoiler and when I go underneath the spoiler is there, so im not sure how to get to it

Two possible causes
If it is only the left turn signal then the switch has worn switch contacts and you need to replace it with a new indicator stalk switch.
If both left and right the flasher unit could be faulty.

Replace the turn signal switch. All of these lights run threw it.

Pop the hood and remove the black shroud that covers the space between the grill and rad mount. you should find 2 bolts holding the entire headlight assembly and just back them out. It will come out in 1 piece. You can now change the bulb or replace the entire assembly.

only i could replace mine where to remove clips from the black wheel well cover then the light bulb un screws from the back of the lens

its only need to replace the front bulb

There are 2 bolts on the top corners of the bulb lens that needs to be removed then the lens pops right out and you can change the bulb.

check your fuzes. if that doesnt do you any good maybe a flasher or check for bad wiring. maybe a short somewhere

open tail gate area and you will see 2 screws that come in to the light from the side,remove screws and pull light out to replace bulb.

If the light in the spoiler works, the switch is good. Sounds like a bad ground to the light sockets
