Well you narrowed it down to a fuel problem. not sure about your model, but most cars have a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail to reduce un needed pressures. that could possibly be bad. its cylinder in shape and has a vacuum hose connected to it. check the hose and that unit.
after lookin at the fuel pump, the arrow is not aligned between the marks on the car, will this alone stop it from functioning correctly? Also what about a gasket? Im not sure if it's in there, but i dont remember replacing it, will that cause these problems?
Update: change fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter again, I'm not gettin fuel at the rail,
