Wiper not working

Sounds like you damaged the gear drive that operates the wiper arms, time for new wiper motor assembly is my guess. Don't use the wipers to brush off snow, very bad idea, the drive gears are plastic and on this old dog very brittle from age.

I have a 1999, Chev Venture. The wipers quit working, but i can still hear and see the motor run. Will i need to replace the motor or is there a fix for this?

My guess would be something broke in the linkage between the motor and the blades/arms. You may have to remove the blades and pull off the trim panel to find out.

1988 jeep cherokee,6 cylinder my front windsheild wipers dont work.fuse is good.the wiper motor makes a noise when its turned there a relay that could be faulty?wiper switch is the same as the turn...

No relay in the circuit.
There is a delay module but if it fails that usually causes the wipers to stop in the middle of travel or only run on high.
And the switch is working if you hear noise coming from the motor. The wiper switch is not the same switch as the turn signals but it is near that assembly.
I would say if you have power to the wiper motor the motor is probably dead or something happened to the linkage to the arms.

The windsheild wipers only go on sometimes. I can hear the motor running but they don't always work. Could it be the switch and if so how do u change it?

If you can hear the wiper motor running, I would think your problem lies in a disconnect between the motor and the wiper arms. This
part is called the wiper transmission or linkage and you can get one used at a junkyard or on ebay. Often the base of the wiper arm has become stripped and the serrations or fluting will not grip the stubs on the wiper transmission. However that issue would generally mean they do not run at all. In any event when you pull the arms off, take a good look at that. If you park in the snow these become stripped when you turn the wipers on while they are stuck to the windshield.

97 jimmy wiper motor relay fuse problem hear motor running and wipers don't go. fuse or motor?

if u hear motor not elect problem -most likely linkage unbolted from motor with motor running try to move the wiper arms if move freely than need to remove cowl and check the linkage hook up to motor -if wipers dont move freely than possible motor damage/seized linkage damaged but still would have to look under cowl at connection at linkage

2000 taurus hear motor but arms dont move. i can

it sounds like the wiper transmission has broken/slipped off of the wiper motor. Remove wiper motor and check wiper transmission.
