Many many reasons, camshaft drive chain failure (2.7 V6) is one, no spark is another, no fuel pressure is another, if not cranking over with the starter then the battery can be the cause or the cables to it are loose or corroded.
That code is indicating an intermittant crank shaft or cam shaft sensor fault. Because the engine is starting then stalling, check to see if you have spark after the stall. If spark is still present, you are probobley looking at a cam sensor circuit issue. The cam sensor controls the fuel injector pulse. If the cam sensor fails on a chrysler product, the fuel injectors will not function.
make sure you have spark, sometimes if you start bypassing stuff the ignition works only on a resistor to much electricity and it won't work, not enough and it won't work.
ffirstly if its turning over then thats cranking !
so i gather you mean it just wont fire up & start
if so check for spark at plugs
& for fuel delivery
If your talking that engine won't crank over, just click or something randomly, make sure shifter is all the way in park, or try in neutral, otherwise start relay would be another suspect area. Worse case, starter.
