2004 saturn ion 4 door, the car runs fine but occasionaly it will not start. What could be causing this?

It is and air conditioning blend door that is malfunctioning. There should be 3 of them. One of them is bad. It is all plastic on the inside

Disconnected from inside door.....remove door card and inspect, could just have come off or broken!

Well it probably means that you are about to have to get a new battery, if i were you i would go ahead and go to your local autostore and get a new battery. Hope this helps.

We were having problems with my son's 2004 Saturn Ion. The first thing that started flashing was the power steering warning, so fixed that by replacing the fuses. It kept flashing and then the coolant light came on and it wouldn't start. The battery was fine and well charged. We finally asked a friend who manages a vehicle service center for assistance. The Ion has a standard transmission and that was the problem. After only 15 minutes, they found the clutch switch was just a little loose. So they tightened it and the car popped right off and all the flashing warning lights disappeared. An easy fix but the car sat in our garage for 6 weeks as we couldn't find the solution!

Usually when the turnsignal blinks rapid this is a indicator that the turn signal bulbs is blown, you will need to check both the front and rear signal to see which is not working, and then change the blown bulb or bulbs.

it could be the switch,it could be the power window regulator,it could be the wiring in the door where the door meets the body,sometimes the wires in there break and cause this issue,,,go to the dealer to get parts,

Probably caused by Faulty door jam switch,unless has aftermarket alarm.Does it have a factory fob,Will have gm part# and 4 buttons.

Put a screw driver in the latch. Try to pull open the latch while you pull up on the door handle.
