have the oil pressure checked using a mechanical pressure gauge and if OK then replace the sender unit or gauge
probably, the check engine light could come on for so many reasons that i wouldnt have space here to list them, if it the first time its come on, then your probably ok, i have friends who continually drive with the check engine light and thier car seems just fine....
Write down the codes , then clear them up , and go for a road test.When above event happens , stop and check the code right away , see what you find and repair according to the code.

Given the amount of electronic's on your vehicle , an control modules , have a full vehicle scan done . Not at a parts , thier diagnostic tool will not check BCM -body control module , Instrument cluster , air bag module codes . Your vehicle maybe have communication problem between modules . Suggest you google GM class 2 serial data communication network .
You just have to disconnect the battery for 1/2 hour. then reconnect and drive for 10 miles so computer can relearn your engine again. It may run rough. You should have the key off when refueling because computer sensed a fuel vapor leak during fueling and turned the light on.
Also, you can always drive with a check engine light on. It just means you are not meeting emissions. Do not drive if it's flashing on and off.
first ... put a bottle or two of gas line antifreeze in the tank (it sucks up water in the fuel)... if that doesn't sort it out.... your coil pack may be dying
