I would get the owner's manual out of the glove box and look up fuse in the index. That will tell you where the fuse box is and often the turn signal and flasher units are plugged in there. With the signals on I would walk around the car and make sure the bulbs are all good.
The manual wasn't much help, although it is missing pages, my friend isn't the first owner so who knows what happened to it. I assumed it would be near one of the fuse boxes but no dice last time I looked but I'll check there again. I also checked under the dash previously and couldn't find it, but may have missed it there.
I had to replace mine too and I had a heck of a time finding it. Ended up tucked way up under the steering column, slightly to right of the steering wheel, 10 inches back from the front of the dash. From underneath you have to remove the vent / cover thing, it's clipped to a half circle metal bracket that is so tight, it broke my plastic covered new flasher when I snapped it in place, had to repair the plastic on the flasher and loosen the bracket by bending it out a bit.
