CHARGE OR REPLACE BATTERY IF BAD.CHECK ALTERNATOR OUTPUT AT BATTERY WHEN CAR GET RUNNING.VOLTAGE AT BATTERY SHOULD BE 13.5 TO 14.5 VOLTS IF NOT ALTERNATOR FAULTY.CHECK ALTERNATOR FUSE AND ALTERNATOR WIRES.MAKE SURE DRIVE BELT NOT SLIPPING AND BATTERY CABLES ARE TIGHT AND CLEAN FREE FROM CORROSION. IF ALL IS GOOD.ALTERNATOR IS BAD.THAT COULD BE POSSIBLE CAUSE OF DEAD BATTERY. IF BATTERY 4 OR 5 YEARS OLD.IT COULD BE BAD BUT IF BATTERY OKAY STILL CHECK BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR PERFORMANCE.

Van runs fine then radio, lights, gauges, windows, blinkers and everything else thats electric stops working.jumped the van and everything works fine for about 20 to 30 mins. then it does the same thing again

This sounds like an alternator problem. have the battery and charging system tested. this test will tell you if the battery is good and also if the alternator is good.

Car won't start totally dead no radio, lights

Charge it, or hook up jumper cables, wait a few minutes before you actually try to start it. Make the ground to the running engine the last connection you make.

2000 Chrysler Sebring w/year old battery.  Advise, what could have occurred when AAA jump me???  Left tiny interior light on under my mirror--battery dead.  After AAA came, I let it run

I doubt the service person did anything wrong. In today's cars with both engine and body computers, jump starting a car can be risky.
You're better off having the battery charged for an hour or so then trying to start it.
You may have to have the body computer scanned and possibly flashed to get everything working again. The body computer controls everything you mentioned. It could have lost some of the factory programming when the system was dead.

I have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata that just dies when i'm driving

Not the battery. Once the car is started, a bad battery will not cause it to stop running all of a sudden.
For engine to run you need - compression, air, fuel, spark.
Might want to check out your ignition coil for an intermittent condition - try replacing it.
And if it does not turn over(crank) check the wiring going to the starter motor, solenoid, for good connectivity. And make sure that your fuel pump is always getting power and pumping.

Battery died for no reason

About the only thing you can do is disconnect the battery and connect them again after 5 minutes. If that do not work check for blown fuse. Other than that then the XM radio has been damaged by the charger.

Ford Explorer, 1998, V6 4L SOHC. Will not start. Acts like battery is dead. Jump starts successfully. Battery takes and holds charge (13.3V) only when disconnected. When battery leads are reconnected...

Most partstores will test battery altenator and starter for free. Either your battery is dead or your connections are not metal to metal contact, or you starter relay may be shot. You can put key in on position and either test with a voltmeter or use a screwdriver and jump terminals on solenoid to see if starter turns.
