The idle-air valve is a known problem ance they get a few years old... With a new valve you might need to do a reset of the stepper motor. Do a search for IACV valve reset stepper 206.

Not a Peugeot expert, but there should be a safety switch to keep you from cranking the engine in gear.

Peugeot 206 will not start with key,the odd time it will. But will bump start every time, i think it is the immobiliser. How can i reset it ? or have i got to replace anything ?

you have either a fauly starter motor or the wire from the ignition switch to the starter is faulty (this is the thin wire that goes to the back of the starter)

Peugeot 206 2001 petrol intermitant fault with starter motor

If the starter motor is sticking, it can draw a large current. If there is power down to the starter motor while its not starting then the starter is faulty. You can test this with a multimeter or just a test bulb connected to the smaller of the two wires on the starter, while cranking.Check you have a good earth from the battery to the engine. If the bulb lights up but no engine cranking then its a faulty starter.
