2004 Civic dome light bulb replacement

I bought the replacement bulb. I can't figure out how to access the old bulb. The burned out bulb is the one for the rear seat. Do I pry the whole assembly away from the liner? Or does the lens come out?

Usually the lens comes out on a rear light like this. look to see if the lens has a notch in one of the sides, you should be able to take a small flat-headed screwdriver and pry it out by this notch. Let me know if you have any trouble with this

I don't know for sure but some cars have a "DOME OVERRIDE" button usually somewhere the light switch on the dash. Not seeing your car the dome covers mostly require only slight pressure on either of the longer sides to remove, press against the side and at the same time pull downward.

My dome light stopped working. I think the bulb may be burned out. How do I replace it?

the dome light cover just pops off by prying with a screwdriver..this will expose the bulb and you can probably figure it out from there... sometimes the bulbs unscrew out and sometimes they pop out also

How do you replace the dome light on a 2005 civic

Look on the sides of the dome light and look for a tiny little notch in the plastic. Take a screwdriver and gently pry at the notch and it should just pop out

My car is a Honda Civic 2007 model. The dome light

of the switch is working properly ON/OFF/DOORS , and the fuse is good. verify that there is voltage to the bulb. take a test light an dcheck each end of the bulb when it should be on. NO VOLTAGE-=problem between fuse and light. VOLTAGE on both ends of bulb= bad ground, usually there is a screw that may be loose holding the light up, loosen and tighten all screws up there.

2005 Honda CRV dome light goes out, but not burned out

Filament gets fractured, possibly by vibration of the roof lining. I have replaced mine 4 times and while the bulb looks OK it is high resistance, buy a few bulbs and replace them when it occurs.

Replacing the tail light

Look inside behind the light and see if there is an access cover, if not you will have to remove the tail lamp to replace the bulb. If you open the rear hatch and look at the lamp you should see a couple of screws that hold the lamp to the car. Remove these and pull the light out.
