Possible that there is no heat exchange with the cooling fan being unefficient. Normally all car ac's have a better cooling when it moves as the air flows into the condenser to have a better effect to cool. So when the ac does not respond so much you must
1. check the fan, check the fan speed.
2.Check for blocks in the condenser specially if there is any obstruction inthe fins. Use a good water jet air jett to clean the fins to have a better flow so that the fan blows out the heat.
3. reduced pressure of gas and poor conpressor performance can also reduce the cooling

Either clutch coil is heating up and letting go Or one of the sensors is defective. Or there is a restriction somewhere in the line (open up hood and look for frost on a/c lines.)

Blows cold when first started and then blowes warm

I would replace the AC compressor cycling switch it may be sticking have seen it a number of times. The switch is located in the receiver dryer on the passenger side of the engine compartment. See picture below.

If this isn't the problem the AC compressor relay may also cause this, flip a coin.

AC blows warm air whil idle or at first start

U could be run on eco a/c where the engine is using the power until it has extra to spare. Warm at start could be simlarly that there is now cold air yet and has to "make" cold air to distribute when ready. See if u can find a setting for reg use. cheers, ps eco saves dollars/euros.

Why does Ac blow warm air when I stop in Toyota sequoia?

The most likely culprit is the condenser fan not working. While driving, air is forced through the condenser fins cooling the condenser and all is fine, but when stopped and the fan is not blowing and you notice the air get warm.

2004 Gmc Envoy XUV A/C problems

Hi, do you turn the AC as soon as you start the car? If this is the case yes if will blow hot until the AC kicks in. What the ac does is not put cold air in to the vehicle it removes the heat from the air, so it does take time for it to do this.A little trick for a bit quicker is to roll down a window these just helps. I read that once it starts getting cold it stays cold is this right? Once it stays cold have you notice that if you stop for just like running into the store and you start the car back up is it still cold or does the problem starts over? Hope this helps some please let me know.

Cheers
