This sounds like an MLP sensor. Manual lever position sensor. These have an integrated board, and at times the circuits contacts lose contact. That explains the random shifting. Ask you technician to scan for those codes.
If you are in a town where there is an Auto Zone or an O'Reilly's, you can ask them to print you out the view that you are needing. Or you might try to get it from the place where you originally bought the new belt at. I know from personal experience that Auto Zone is good about printing you out the view.
You need to remove timing belt and you will have a crazy time attaching the coolant hose to the water pump. Even if you move aside the power steering pump, it is likely coolant will still leak. But you may have better luck than me. So good luck!
