It is under the timing chain cover. the serpentine belt and all that accompanying stuff has to be removed and/or disconnected. while you are doing this you may want to do the timing chain and sprockets too to avoid duplicating labor next year. The oil pump is also in there. This is a lot of work and not for the neophyte, the timing chain has to be put in maintaining proper relationship between the crank and cam shafts.
