How do i change my timing belt on my hilux sr5 1kd diesel engine

i am curious... what year is this van... and what diesel engine does it have. i am a professional diesel mechanic that specializes on ford engines and i never herd of an R2 engine. it has got to be a 6.2l, 7.3l or 6.0l engine... at any rate none of these engines have a timing belt... unless you have some kind of import model that i am not familiar with. if that is the case them i will try to find out all the info i can.

Check calibration. Muffler supports from the front till the back, there should be proper clearance. Is your diesel fuel of proper cetane rating for the engine? Check your belt drive system, is there any part that is excessively draining engine power, power steering pump, air con compressor, alternator or generator? Do these preliminary steps and isolate.

SOURCE: P2008 Intake Manifold runner control

Hi.

P2008 means intake runner control circut/open bank 1. The intake mainfold running solenoid must be checked and eventually replaced. The solenoid is located off the vacuum hose and operates the intake runner shaft throught the mainfold.
