Question about 1992 Honda Accord

I have a 1993 honda accord replaced tranny and d4 lights blinks continously and car will eventually go out of gear and not move. I will then turn car off let sit for a minute or two then it will go into gear and move but the d4 light will still be blinking what is the problem? the tcu?

My 93 accord wouldnt shift out of second if d4 light on when started and in park with light on changed tcu took care of problem. fyi the tcu is under glove box on floor board pull back carpet u will c kick plate with 4 bolts remove and tcu bolted to plate be one closest to door

You will need to have the Tranny checked to see if it is a TCU or a bad solenoid in the Tranny.

You need to count number of long flashes and short flashes to find out the code.

you need to check the codes for the trans first.
have to contact the honda dealer for a radio code.
needs a clock light bulb.
