I need to change the lights on my mazda mx5 first reg july 2005 to left hand as i now live in france?

In my opinion, the BEST way is to get somebody else to do it for free!...LOL

However, that is not very likely to happen in this millenium, so I have provided the pictures below.

Also please note that there is a Mazda 6i and a Mazda 6s But there is no Mazda MX6 in 2005. There is, however, a Mazda MX5...so assuming this is what you meant, the pictures are for the MX5.

If you meant Masda 6i or Mazda 6s, these pictures are not even close because the 6-series requires removal of the front bumper to remove the head lights.

Start from easyest -
1. Check spark plugs and distributor for wear and aging
2. Check air filter
3. Check exhaust for any obstructions
4. Check fuel filter.(if petrol is dark - then you should change the filter)

two choices.one is the relay has blown,the other ,the switch is faulty.

yes you can, but as the french love to stop/fine english drivers for any reason i would sudgest you get quickfit to do it for you and keep the reciept just in case,if you follow me.....

when the live is disconnected the stereo locks itself to unlock it you need the code which is usually a four digit number code look if its in the cars hand books if not a mazda main dealer will be able to get the code for you or i use a local radio code man than charges £10 so depending on how much it costs from a mazda dealer you may be as well buying a second hand cd player and putting that in

its a relay needed for this if your not sure how/where to fit it ,take it to the spares shop buy one and ask kindly if any of the staff could fit it for you , best of look!

check globe ,wiggle wires,check fuse clean light housing

put some oil on it and let it soak in for a day or so

valve bent or valve seats worn
